Overview
Skill+ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) helps users discover skills, record practice time and repetitions, track progress, earn XP and achievements, and optionally save content connected to their learning journey. This policy applies to the Skill+ app, website, and related services.
Information we collect
Account information
We may collect your email address, display name, username, profile details, and account identifier.
Skills and progress
We store skills you add or create, practice time, repetitions, status, XP, achievements, goals, and other progress you enter.
User content
If you choose journey or media features, we may process photos, videos, captions, and related information you upload. Camera or photo access is requested only for features you choose to use.
Purchases and technical data
We may receive subscription status and transaction identifiers needed to unlock premium features. Apple processes App Store payments; we do not receive full card details. We and our providers may also process device information, IP address, diagnostics, crash data, and service logs.
How we use information
- Create and maintain your account.
- Save, synchronize, and display your skills and progress.
- Provide subscriptions and premium access.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Skill+.
- Respond to support requests and comply with law.
Service providers
We may use trusted providers for authentication, databases, file storage, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, and email. These may include Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, and analytics or error-monitoring providers configured in the app. They process limited information needed to provide their services under their own privacy practices.
Retention and security
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Data may remain temporarily in secure backups after deletion. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic system is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your data. Request account or data deletion in the app where available or email info@skillplus.site. We may verify your identity.
Children’s privacy
Skill+ is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires. We do not knowingly collect information from children below the applicable minimum age.
Changes
We may update this policy as Skill+ develops or legal requirements change. The revised policy and date will be posted here; material changes may also be communicated in the app.
